The Syllabus is the chrysalis
In addition to what I think of as the sacred structure of the learning container – namely, the rotation of Wednesday Magician’s Day meetups with the 13th Reader (which in turn have their own structure), the weekly partnering, the curriculum from Britten, and the daily practices – the journey week by week is infused with intention. The syllabus below only names the REQUIRED meetups. The schedule for all of Britten’s office hours, Speech of the Grail gatherings, and bonus meetups will be shared on the other side of the enrollment portal. Timing will vary to accommodate time zones differences and scheduling needs.
MARCH 23-24: THE INITIATORY WEEKEND
Saturday you meet with your cohort. Britten leads an introduction game to move energy around and disrupt some of the expectations, fears, and presumptions about what being together will be like. This 90 minutes goes lightning fast.
For Saturday: Samar’s cohort meets at 10 am CST / Erin’s cohort meets at noon CST / Nicole’s cohort meets at 2 pm CST
Sunday all 2024 Magicians gather together from 12-4 pm CST. Bring your journal, pen, and light a candle. You will mostly be receiving, experiencing, and feeling yourself ROCKED and CRACKED open. You will also have the opportunity to goof around in the chat and ask questions.
MARCH 27: MAGICIAN’S DAY
Samar’s cohort is always at 9 am CST / Erin’s 1 pm CST / Nicole’s 5 pm CST
The Invitation from Britten: “Orienting to Your Tools in Present Time” plus a meditation and resources to support you accessing this information.
The Magician archetype is one who is deeply in reverent practice and intimate conversation with their magical tools. All your tools relate to the four elements: EARTH, WATER, AIR, & FIRE. The beginning of creating a new pathway is to first orient to where you are now. What is your relationship to your tools?
APRIL 3: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “The Roots of Your Practice” plus a meditation and resources for knowing the ground.
The Magician is one who engages with the power of Personal Earth practices and rituals. Britten offers channeled exercises for listening with the wisdom of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn to support you in being a grounded practitioner who listens and meets your needs and cultivating a sacred grove for being with the present moment. Focus is on embodiment, receiving, and nourishing.
APRIL 10: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Caretaking Your Waters” plus a meditation to attune to your depths.
The Magician cultivates practices of attunement to the feeling body, the subtle realm, and ancestral knowing. The Magician cultivates a home for feelings to be validated in the body vessel. Britten channels Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces to offer exercises for your own exploration and deep dives, gathering treasures from the deep. You will be invited into ancestral healing here to support you in being someone who knows and names the context of your Waters.
APRIL 17: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “The Syntactical Nature of Your Reality” plus a meditation to observe your Air world.
The Magician is a Trickster realm jumper and binary breaker with their own stories, biases, and the crossroads that the brain imagines. The Magician is intimate with their own unique cognition and spell-making with language. Britten offers a channeled set of exercises for learning with Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius to support you in playing with possibilities and opening up new pathways.
APRIL 24: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “The Animated Spirit” plus a meditation for tapping at your Fire
The Magician trusts Fire to clarify, burn off, radiate, and uplift the spirit moving through the body. Britten channels Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius to support you with exercises to tap into your Fire and notice where you might fear, shame, or suppress it because of distorting conditioning that your Fire is too much, too dangerous, too selfish for this world. If you are craving more malefic medicine (ie Mars), this is your week.
MAY 1: MAGICIAN’S DAY
No Invitation. A week off for spaciousness. Britten offers a tarot spread to support you midway.
MAY 8: NO MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Wielding Your Fire in the World” plus a meditation and resources for externalizing your Fire
The first half of the curriculum moved through the elements – Earth up to Fire – from a personal, interior perspective. Now we move back through the elements – Fire down to Earth – with an external, public-facing focus. The week Britten channels Mars, the Sun, and Jupiter through their Fire signs to support you in differentiating your offering, naming it, letting it be visible, and calling yourself what you are: a magical person.
MAY 15: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Speech That Heals & Transforms” and resources for bringing your Air into the world
Inspired by the subtitle of The Speech of the Grail (one of Britten’s favorite books), this week the invitation is to resource your truth voice to communicate to your ecosystems of friends, loved ones, clients, students, readers, and listeners. As we explore in our Initiatory Weekend meetup, you heal and transform yourself and others whenever you sit down inside this well within you. From here, The Magician is wise without trying to be. From here, you never run out of words that change the world.
MAY 22: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Tools For Life as a Medium” and resources for growing boundaries with Water
The Magician cultivates skills for being someone whose craft is so clearly based in being able to access and read the Waters of other beings. Whether we’re talking about your client, your neighbor, or your daughter, you are a porous person who sees and feels so much. Britten channels exercises with Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces to support you in discerning how to protect yourself and other people from taking on what’s not yours to hold. This is part of how your practice can come to feel like a safe home for you to belong to.
MAY 29: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Showing Up For Your Emergence” and resources for grounding your offerings into the Earth realm
The Magician creates form, structure, and systems around their mystical and visionary offerings. Britten offers guidance for practical magic with Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. We talk about setting your prices and updating them over time. We discuss creating integrations and systems for automated magic. We name that deadlines and calendar magic help you love yourself and show up to what you’re stewarding. Britten is very interested in dispelling the notion that the practical isn’t also the magical.
JUNE 5: NO MAGICIAN’S DAY
No Invitation. A week off for spaciousness.
JUNE 12: MAGICIAN’S DAY
The Invitation: “Knowing Your Investment & Completing the Initiation”
The Magician honors closure and knows that endings are also beginnings. Britten supports you with a channeled meditation she calls “Meditation to Know Your Investment,” a favorite every year.
JUNE 19: CLOSING MAGICIAN’S DAY

The Invitation: “Now what?: Beyond The Magician’s Table”
Britten and the 13th Readers share a video with tips and loving suggestions for navigating the post-TMT integration period. There are also 5 hours worth of recordings where Britten answers the delicious questions from past Magicians. These are here for you to listen to as the months pass and you can continue to feel resourced. Your cohort is encouraged to figure out the processes and pathways for staying in touch and continuing to celebrate and witness each other.
