Welcome Libra! Welcome Equinox! From September 23 to October 22 on the Gregorian calendar, Libra season is a time when the winds shift. The first day of Libra is also the portal to autumn, what is known as the autumn equinox. The equinoxes are the midway points between the winter and summer solstices, the shortest and the longest days of the year, respectively. The Hermit is a person who voluntarily undergoes a period of seclusion from worldly life, with the intent to connect with either a spiritual path or at least a way of living that promises to heal and evolve them through self-denial, silence, prayer, and/or meditation. Like so many of us, I’m in the throws of recalibrating with the shift in rhythm from summer to fall, while trying to stay calm and open with all of the not-knowing. I have good days and bad days.
